Unibuild is a collective of construction management professionals with expertise in executing construction projects from inception to completion. Boasting a combined experience of over two decades, our team excels in developing projects from the grassroots level to the final handover. We offer customized services to a diverse clientele, including but not limited to land assembly, civil works/construction, and the construction of single-family homes, multifamily residences, commercial/industrial spaces, and institutions.
Our services extend beyond Lower Mainland customers, reaching Chilliwack, Hope, and Vancouver Island (up to Campbell River). We have the capability to coordinate projects from the very beginning, starting with the selection of the right team of consultants, ensuring seamless coordination with various municipalities.
Our proficiency lies in tailoring services to meet each client’s specific requirements, addressing non-standard issues during construction to add a unique touch to each project. Our team is well-equipped with talent, knowledge, and skills to tackle challenges and bring them to a successful conclusion in the best interest of the project.
Unibuild's Process
- Project Assessment aims to determine the project’s feasibility, maximizing land use with optimum value for the client. This involves considering various parameters, including but not limited to code and bylaws.
- Discuss the budget range based on the initial scope of work and specifications/ finishes level.
- Identify budget risks and propose measures to mitigate any unnecessary exposure.
- Consolidate all documents for permit submission, including the selection of consultants tailored to meet the project requirements. This process also involves submitting applications to the respective municipality.
- Identify value engineering opportunities by proposing changes in materials and scope of work during the above process.
- Provide a detailed and budget breakdown, along with the development of the project construction schedule.
- Delegation of Unibuild’s project team and the hiring of contractors to establish a protocol for the smooth execution of the project.
- Conduct regular fortnightly meetings with the project team to ensure seamless coordination, involving all consultants and identifying potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor the budget in coordination with the project team, keeping track of expenses and maintaining cash flow statements.
- Consolidation of all field reviews and municipal inspections to prepare for the final inspection.
- Final inspection including warranty completion certificate and final payment of all the stakeholders.
- Final project report including security deposit back from municipality and adjustment of retainer(s).
